Return Policy

Effective Date: October 18, 2025

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from The Lapidary Office. This policy governs returns for physical products and addresses the finality of service sales.

Purchases (Goods/Products)

You may return most new, unused, and undamaged items purchased directly from us within 30 days of the original purchase date for a refund.

  • Eligibility: To be accepted for a return, items must be in their original, unused, and undamaged condition. The original packaging must also be included, and you must provide the return shipping tracking number.

  • Return Shipping & Fees: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

  • Damaged or Incorrect Orders: If an item arrives damaged due to shipping or if you received the wrong product, please contact me immediately. In these specific cases, we will provide instructions for return and will cover the cost of return shipping and either ship a replacement (if available) or issue a full refund after the item has been received by me and inspected. If the item is damaged during shipping, if it is insured please contact the third party shipping service to file your claim. if it is not insured The Lapidary Office is not liable for the loss as the damage occurred outside our control in the hands of a third party. All items are packaged in a box in packing in another box to avoid such issues.

  • Refund Processing: Once your return is received and inspected, I will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days of receiving the approved return.

  • Small Business Policy: Please understand that as an independent, small business, I personally handle all customer service inquiries and return inspections. I maintain a zero-tolerance policy for fraudulent returns; any such activity will be reported and result in the termination of future service.  

Services

All sales on services, including but not limited to cutting, repair, and consultation work, are final.

  • Completed Services: No returns or refunds are provided for any completed services. I pride myself on the quality of my craftsmanship and will work with you during the service process to ensure satisfaction.

  • Service Deposits (If Applicable): If a non-refundable deposit is required to secure time or materials for a custom service, this deposit is non-refundable even if the client cancels the service prior to work commencing.

  • Shipping : All items shipped are insured for the cost paid for the service. Additional insurance is the responsibility of the client.
